Ibrahim retired in January 2021 after 52 years of work in IT Customer Support and Marketing, Business Consulting, Recruitment and Translation.
From 2009 to 2020, he offered translation services from Arabic to English and vice-versa. He accumulated over 10 years of translation experience in several fields. He is comfortable in both languages, having lived for similar periods in the Middle East and the UK & Canada.
From 2000 to 2011, Ibrahim ran ITS International, a Montreal-based company offering Business & Management Consulting Services (with focus on Customer Support), Recruitment Services (specializing in the placement of IT Professionals with prestigious clients in the Gulf Region of the Middle East).
During the 90's, and for over 10 years, Ibrahim was Manager then Director of Customer Support at CTI Datacom Inc., a Montreal-based integrator and provider of data communications equipment, software and services.
In the 70's and a good part of the 80's, Ibrahim ran the Customer Engineering organization of IBM World Trade Corporation in Kuwait, with responsibility for Hardware & Software Customer Support operations in the entire Gulf region outside Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Jordan.
While still in Kuwait, Ibrahim spent a couple years as Marketing Executive for the Kuwait Computer Company, a re-seller of Mainframe computers, related peripherals and high-end systems and application software.Interspersed with the above enterprises, Ibrahim had several management and business consultancy engagements covering such areas as Corporate Reorganization, Accounts Receivable optimization, Customer Call Center and Customer Service setup, and Corporate Profile creation.
